OOTD: Trible Tremble

No doubt, there's a little gypsy nomad trible spirit in me. I can't pick just one term, cause I feel connected to all. As soon as I see gypy-ish jewelry, it's mine. Right away.
Surprise surprise, for this outfit I've decorated myself with some gypsy nomad tribal ornaments! And I got me an awesome photographer who took awesome pictures. Ch-ch-check it out!

OOTD: Aztecdam

First of all: thank you for bearing with me! I hope to get my computer back soon, all fixed and well. Until then, I try to post as soon as I can :)

So for this post I have an outfit for y'all. A little late, since this is the outfit I wore to the Hairloxx event, but that's okay. It's a simple outfit, but I got the request to post more OOTDs, so here it is! :)
The event and this "photoshoot" were in Amsterdam. My pants reminded me of aztec prints (I am aware that this is not aztec, don't worry).

So have a look at my Aztecdam outfit!

OOTD: Monochrome Ma'am

What's better than a monochrome outfit? Right, nothing. Nothing beats the colours white, grey and black. Please, do not try to discuss with me whether black and white are colours or not. Scientists are debating this subject for years and I agree with the scientists who say that black & white are colours!

Sorry, lost my focus there. A while ago I went to the Inglot pop-up store in Rotterdam and this is my outfit. I bet you want to see more of these pictures, so you better click to continue reading!

OOTD & FOTD: Soft & Sweet for Eid

After a month of fasting (Ramadan) it was Eid al Fitr on August 7th! If you're not familiar with this religious holiday, you can click the link and you'll end up on the Wikipedia page with info.

It's a day of good food and family and that's also how I celebrated my Eid. Someone requested a post on my outfit and make-up so here it is! I have to say that isn't that big this year, because we only went to my grandma. The rest of the family was abroad.

Enjoy the pictures of my outfit & make-up!

OOTD: Red Blazer, Blazing Lips

Give this girl a red lipstick and the colour black and she's the happiest girl alive. BUT, now it's time to give up black. Yes, the time has come. I'm still one for classic colours and "less is more" and those are things I won't give up. But for now: less black!

And this post it's more pictures and less chit chat! Check it out yourselfff

OOTD: Black, gold & curls will rock your world

Before you look at the pictures, I have a confession to make. I got this post planned for 2 weeks. How horrible is that? I think Trudy, who took these pictures, is mad at me by now and probably doesn’t want to take me on OOTD-quests anymore.. EXCUZA AUNTY TRUDY! It won’t happen again, I’m sorry!

Anyway, it’s been a while but I got another outfit post for you guys! A simple one, but can I just say that I love the pictures? It takes an amazing photographer for that (THANK YOU AUNTY TRUDY). We discovered that we have quite some beautiful places in my neighborhood too.

Have a look!

Polyvore outfit: Spring outfit à la Petite Sal

spring but not springy

spring but not springy van petitesal met oscar de la renta

For some reason I haven't posted a Polyvore outfit for a long time. So I decided to do one again, even though it's not Sunday! (I used to post the Polyvore Sunday posts) As you probably know my style is very simple and I LOVE the colour black. I seriously think it's the most beautiful colour that exists. I love to wear black on black, preferably in combination with gold.

But I've decided not to buy black clothes anymore and to step off my favourite colour. Especially now it's Spring and now Summer is coming, I wanted something different. So I created a Spring outfit à la Sal, without using too much black. That was quite a challenge I can tell you! I'm definitely not into bright colours. It's not that I don't feel comfortable wearing them (hey, bright lippies are my favourite!), I just like classic colours better, mainly black & grey. A friend of mine used to call me the female version of Karl Lagerfeld.. An honour, if you ask me! Even though it probably means it looks like I always walk in the same (black) clothes haha!

So here's a Spring outfit Sal-style. This is something I'd totally wear and I'm going to shop for such blouses soon! Love them! To see where the pieces are from or to follow me on Polyvore, click on the image above.

FOTD: NYE 2012/2013 - Mayan calendar, my behind!

 photo cfcghgfvh_zps608f3353.png

In this post I'm just going to act like New Year was last week, because that's how it still feels like! Even though it's almost February..
Anyway, even though the Maya people predicted the end of the world at December 21st, I'm pretty sure these pictures are from December 31st. Baha, we survived the end of the world like it was nothing. Get it? Because it was nothing? No..? Okay, then just have a look at the pictures of my makeup!

Excuse me for being a day late. This week's Favourite Piece of Clothing. I only have one, so this was an easy one.
B L A Z E R S.
I can't get enough of blazers, especially black blazers.

Keep on reading to see my favourite outfit too!

Little update from the little girl!

Hello there, lovely ladies!
This is just a quick post to let you all know I'm still alive! You can stop worrying now.
I know you're used to reading more blogposts of me, but this week has been so busy!!
It was incredibly busy at work, with school and.. My cousin got married! Most of you already know because they read it on twitter (go follow me if you don't! @Petitesal)
I also got myself an iPad (yay!) so I hope to catch up with blogging soon and that I'll blog more frequently.

But back to the most important thing of last week, the wedding! I will be posting some pictures soon, pictures of myself. I won't be posting any pictures of the wedding, because I don't think that's fair. The bride and groom have their right on privacy. Sorry, guys, but trust me when I say the bride looked AMAZING!!! So did my cousin though, but yeah.. He didn't look that special haha.

Okay, I'll stop rambling. I will be posting regularly soon again, but for now..

Here's a sneak peek of my wedding outfit!

Hope you're having an amazing week!!

OOTD: The girl with the striped blazer

After quite some time I have another Outfit of the Day for you guys! This OOTD is actually a cooperation with my friend, who happens to be a blogger as well! Thank you so much, Trudy, for shooting my pictures! You should definitely check her blog out. She's a fashion blogger with amazing pictures, trust me on that one!

Polyvore Sunday - Favourite TV Show Character Outfit Post

Connecting with bloggers is something I love to do! One of my fellow bloggers Joanna had the amazing idea to connect beauty bloggers and fashion bloggers: Polyvore Sunday. Every Sunday you post an outfit and you connect with other bloggers. For more information check out her blogpost about this.

This week's theme is Favourite TV Show Character. My favourite character is maybe not what you'd expect. Let me tell you she's a fashionista, but of a different kind. I just love her personality so much, even when there's a repeated episode on TV, I watch it and enjoy it.

Who is it, you ask?

Our beloved Peg Bundy!
Doesn't ring a bell?
Here's our Married with Children-star!

It was a real challenge to make a classy outfit inspired on this lady, but I think I did a good job.
