FOTD: I live for fur - I worship fur (Cruella de Vil)

My faith in your limited intelligence is momentarily restored.
-
I've seen more intelligent pieces of carpet!
-
Congratulations. You three have just won the Gold, Silver and Bronze in the Morons Olympics!

The most evil lady you can imagine, but mannn, you gotta love her for her statements! Who I'm talking about? Well, Cruella de Vil of course! The cruel lady that's known for the everlasting hunt on the poor little stained puppies for their beautiful fur.

Cruel or not, she did inspire me for this make-up look!

FOTD: Suga suga, how you get so fly?°

When I think of sweets I think pink, yellow, (other) bright colours, sugar and way too active kids. Luckily I didn't have to cope with those kids when doing this look, but I did get inspired by the candy I used to eat when I was a kid myself. And yes, candy back in the 90's was this bright. I don't want to know what they put in it..

Anyways, a very, verrrry bright look for you guys - and fully budgetproof! I went a little crazy, but it was a long time since I did so.

EOTD: I DO! But only if I can cake my face

For some reason I haven't posted this look! A few weeks ago the Weekly Makeup Tag's theme was "Wedding". Usually that means soft makeup and nothing "too much". Too bad my culture thinks otherwise! (Too bad? I don't think it's too bad hihi)
The more, the better. I tried to keep it down a bit, but I just couldn't do a wedding look without the famous heavy black liner!

Seduce me with your beautiful eyelashes

"The eyes are the windows to the soul." Give those windows some nice curtains then! I'll be sharing some tips to get beautiful eyelashes, without buying them. Yes, it's possible, even with your short lashes. There are a few tips and tricks to make them look full, long and beautiful. Got curious? Keep on reading :)

Beautyblog: Lash miracle part II

A few days ago I wrote about the Wonder Oil that makes your eyelashes grow. Here's an addition to that article.

The Wonder Oil is also known as Castor oil. The oil has a very thick structure. You can water it down with some almond oil. This has a nourishing effect as well! It's used in a lot of cosmetics. I'm only going to focus on the effect of external use of Castor oil.

I have done some research about this oil, because originally it's used as a laxative, in case of internal use. But it seems that it's effective on problem skin and it makes hair grow (faster) too! That's good news for the ladies with a bad haircut.

A while ago my mom suffered from food poisoning. This made her eyebrows fall out. She had thicker eyebrows than I have. Drawing them back on just wasn't an option. So I told her to use the oil on her eyebrows, since it worked on my lashes too. She could at least try it, right? She used it every night for about a week and the results were incredible. Her eyebrows grew back! They grew back thicker than before. So the oil doesn't only make your eyelashes longer, but it also makes your eyebrows thicker. I have a little gap in one of my eyebrows and I started used the oil on it, so as soon as I see results, i'll let you guys know!

Not only your eyebrows and eyelashes take advantage of this wonderful oil, but your hair also. I haven't experienced it yet, but it seems that the Castor Oil makes your hair grow faster, thicker and more healthy. Apparently when one of your hair falls out and you're using Castor oil, the new hair that grows back will grow back thicker than the old hair. Besides that it's nourishing for the scalp too. To use this oil on your head, you apply some on your scalp only, because washing it out is a hell of a job. After you massaged it on your scalp, put a cloth or towel on your head and wait for about an hour before you wash it out. You can water it down with some almond oil if you think the Castor oil is too thick.

What I have also read is that it's very useful for acne, swimmer's itch, wrinkles (especially around the eye area), warts, eczema and hard skin on your feet. BUT it's never scientific tested or proven. These are only observations of people who have used it for those purposes. Besides everyone reacts differently on it.

I bought my bottle of 110 ml at a local drugstore for €2 something. It was very cheap! Since it has a very thick structure, you only use a little. So it takes a while before you run out of product! The ingredient is Oleum Ricini. Warning: this oil should not be used by pregnant women without consulting your doctor. (I don't know if it counts for external or internal use, but I don't want anything on my conscience!)

Haha, I wrote a lot more than I expected. I hope this article has been useful to you. If you have any questions, don't be a stranger and ask me! :)

Beautyblog: A miracle for long lashes!

Ever wanted longer lashes without the cosmetic junk, fake lashes or mascara? I have found a way how! It's called Wonderoil.

I've been using it for a while now and I can really see some progress! Look at the picture above. The top picture is before using wonderoil. I am wearing two thick coats of mascara (and some other make up, but try to focus on the eyelashes only). The picture below is after using wonderoil twice. I'm only wearing one thin coat of mascara, as you can probably see. My lashes reach my eyebrows!

When I use it, I make sure I remove my make up first. After I removed my make up, I apply some wonderoil on my lashes. Just a thin coat with an old mascarabrush, only on the top lashes. I don't do it too often, because the oil gets into my eyes and I wear contacts. Until now I have used it twice and I already see that it's effective. Wow! I'm definitely be using it more often. But I'm scared my lashes will get too long! Lol, did you ever hear a girl say such thing? But I'm serious, because my eyelashes are pretty long on their own. Long and thick.

On the other hand it would be a relieve if my lashes would grow just a little longer. Then I wouldn't have to apply much mascara anymore!

At the moment I'm not near the wonderoil, but I wanted to write about it anyway. I will upload a picture soon, promised :) And I will upload some make up pictures with my new, long lashes too!
