Get Inspired: The Mystic Purple Lipstick

As you've probably read in my previous post, I'm converted to purple lips! I haven't said goodbye to my signature red lips permanently, but I do wear purple more often. Yes, you read that right. The red lipstick is temporary replaced by purple and purple-ish colours.

I want to infect you with my new addiction, so I've gathered some inspiration pictures for yah. Cause sharing is caring and I care about y'all!

Get inspired and understand my new obsession!

FOTD: Take A Tribal Dive

A real challenge is to make a Tribal inspired make-up look wearable and that's what I went for. It's a simple, yet exotic, bronzed look with the right amount "pop of colour". I bet you want to see and read the details about this look!

FOTD: Bohemian Breeze

Soft colours, bronze skin, curls/waves.. That's what crosses my mind when I think of Bohemian. I might be wrong there, but interpretations are different per person, right? Based on those thoughts I did this very soft, bohemian inspired make-up look!

FOTD: Black & White makes Monochrome Maquillage

Monochrome inspired make-up: a theme that was quite abstract, but I did know what I wanted to do. I wanted black, white, red, and tight lines. Just black and white seemed a bit boring, hence the added colour.

For this week I also decided to skip the Sunday Solutions and I will explain that too in this post.

I have many pictures for you, so keep on reading!

FOTD: I live for fur - I worship fur (Cruella de Vil)

My faith in your limited intelligence is momentarily restored.
-
I've seen more intelligent pieces of carpet!
-
Congratulations. You three have just won the Gold, Silver and Bronze in the Morons Olympics!

The most evil lady you can imagine, but mannn, you gotta love her for her statements! Who I'm talking about? Well, Cruella de Vil of course! The cruel lady that's known for the everlasting hunt on the poor little stained puppies for their beautiful fur.

Cruel or not, she did inspire me for this make-up look!

FOTD: Can I find my Ken looking like Barbie?

I'm a Barbie girl, in the Barbie world
Life in plastic, it's fantastic!
You can brush my hair, undress me everywhere
Imagination, life is your creation°

Still doesn't ring a bell? I bet it does if you're a 90's kid! Or if you just love Barbie.
Well, as if it wasn't obvious yet: this week I have a Barbie doll inspired make up look!

FOTD: Suga suga, how you get so fly?°

When I think of sweets I think pink, yellow, (other) bright colours, sugar and way too active kids. Luckily I didn't have to cope with those kids when doing this look, but I did get inspired by the candy I used to eat when I was a kid myself. And yes, candy back in the 90's was this bright. I don't want to know what they put in it..

Anyways, a very, verrrry bright look for you guys - and fully budgetproof! I went a little crazy, but it was a long time since I did so.

Tim Burton Series (collaboration with DejaZu) - Romantic Goth

When Deja from DejaZu came up with the idea of a Tim Burton collaboration, I couldn't say no. A collaboration with Deja? Tim Burton inspired? I say yes yes YES!
We decided to do 4 themes, one on each Friday, so stick around if you'd like to see our looks :)

This week it's all about the Romantic Goth. Click to see more pictures!

Tutorial: Purple ombre/Ursula eyelook

Many requested a tutorial of the Ombre/Ursula makeup look and here it is! Keep in mind that you can go as heavy as you want with this look. You can also keep it soft!
But you know I like me a little drama in my makeup, so I'm showing you how to do the dramatic version, as shown above!

Oh and don't worry: it's easier than it looks!
