Sal's Sunday Solutions: Delicious, chapped lips

According to the calendar it's supposed to be Spring, but when I look outside I start questioning the seasons. And life. I don't know about you guys, but here in the Netherlands it just looks like Autumn. And our body reacts on it too. So here's a tip for chapped lips, even though it's Spring!

The usual tip you get is: scrub them lips. I have a different tip for you today. An easy and a delicious one too! For chapped lips apply honey on your lips. Honey contains vitamins, minerals, protein and other qualities that keep the moisture in that can repair the top layer of your skin. Honey has anti-inflammatory qualities and using honey as a mask for your lips is a good idea!

So if your lips feel like they can use a little extra love, put some honey on them!

What do you use when your lips are chapped, besides lip balm?

  1. Great tip. Or you could use honey on your whole face. I did it on Saturday and my skin felt delicious. Literally lol.

  2. I like to use honey and sugar to exfoliate my lips, when they're chopped. And then if some honey still stays on, doesn't hurt:)

  11. This would be perfect for ladies with bigger pouts. Me on the other hand would like my pout to look 'bee stung' like Ms Jolie, ha! I've been using Blistex Relief Cream on my lips, it soothes and is not anti-inflammatory so swells my lips a little, hehe!

Totes hear you on the weather front. This Spring/Summer has been a complete washout in the UK, gurgh.
