Tips/tutorial: Nuuddee, but not naakkedd

The perfect nudelipgloss or lipstick.. It takes a while before you find one, IF you find one! If you’re one of those girls who just can’t seem to find the right nudelip colour that matches her skin tone, here are three tips to create your own! The best part of this tutorial: it’s a tutorial for every skin tone!
All you need is a concealer and a lip product! Which lip product? Keep on reading to see which one matches your preference!

For this tutoral you don't need much! You need a concealer that matches your skin tone and a clear lipgloss/pink lipgloss/pink or peachy lipstick. A bit confused? It will make sense! Just check out the mini tutorial I got for you!

Products I'm using
  • MAC Pro Longwear Concealer - NW20 (review will come soon)
  • Maybelline Superstay Powergloss - Only the clear gloss side
  • H&M Lipgloss - Anni-Can Rock (pink lipgloss)
  • MAC Pro Longwear Lipcreme - Unlimited (matte pink lipstick)

Without anything on my lips

One
For these nudelips you need a concealer that matches your skin tone and a clear lipgloss. These nudelips are for girls that like very nudeglossylips.
What to do? Apply your clear lipgloss. Dot some concealer over it. And that’s it! That’s how you create your nudeglossylips that also match your skin tone!

Two
If very nudelips are a little too much for you, but you still like your lips to be glossy, this is the way to go for you. Apply a sheer pink lipgloss. Dot concealer over your glossy lips and you’re done! By using a pink lipgloss, you give your nudelips a pink undertone. You can also use a peach lipgloss or any other colour you prefer.

Three
Not a big fan of glossy lips? Me neither. This is my favourite way to create nudelips! Apply a pink lipstick. I used a matte pink with blue undertones. If you have a skin with warm undertones, use a lipstick with warm undertones. Apply some concealer over the pink lipstick, rub your lips together et voilà! For this method you can also use a peach lipstick, if you prefer peachynudelips.

See how simple it is to create perfect nudelips that will definitely match your skin tone? And because you’re using either a lipgloss or a lipstick, you don’t get the frightening foundation face! These are just a few tips, but of course you can variate a lot: more concealer for a more nudefinish, lip products in other colours or lip products with another finish (glossy, sheer, shimmer, matte).

Just play with it and pout away!
What is your favourite nudelipproduct?

Yes I am aware that some words are spelled wrongly or miss a space.
This is done on purpose, because people search crazy things on google and end up on my blog.

My fave nude product atm is Bourjois Rouge edition lippie in Rose tweed. Can't go wrong if I use it! :)

  2. handige post!

  7. Amazing tutorial, I was never a fan of nude lips because they just don't suit me! But I do end up adding a pink lipstick slightly on top & they look fine, nude lips look beautiful on you though! I think they look prettier on girls with fuller lips like yours, mine not so much

    1. Glad you like it! Usually I'm not a fan of it either, but I saw many girls are and they had a difficult time finding the right nude lipstick :) Oh my lips aren't that full either! I think they look bigger because I pout haha :) Thank you for your sweet comment, Arwa! X
