Intouchables is a French movie about two men from two completely different worlds coming together in a firm friendship. The story is about Phillipe, a wealthy man who is paralysed from chin to toe, and Driss, a guy of Senegalese descent from the streets who is hired to be Phillipe's live-in carer.
What I found most inspiring is that Phillipe doesn't care about Driss' background. Driss is from the streets, has a criminal record and has some ghetto features every now and then. And Phillipe couldn't care less. He looks past all that, even though people warn him. And he's right. Driss brings joy and happiness in his life and makes him enjoy the little things in life.
Despite of the sad touch of the movie, it makes a great comedy. I'm not going to spoil too much about the movie. You should watch it yourself! If you have the chance, I highly recommend watching it.
Here's the trailer with English subtitles.
